Deshia Designs Handmade Invitations, All Occasion Cards & Gifts

So they say this is supposed to be about the who and why of the company... well here goes ...
Deshia Designs is a company inspired by women, and by that I mean it was inspired by my dearest friends and family to start out on this venture.
My mother who helped my begin my first business at the age of 10, my sister-in-law who taught me the basics of stamping while helping create my own wedding invitations, my dear friend who drove me to the County Clerks office for my DBA, my sister for being Deshia Designs/Toadally Handmade's first "official" client with her wedding invitations, my dear friend who's company became Deshia Designs/All W'apped Up first official client and all those friends and loved ones who went on to purchase Deshia Designs Toadally Handmade cards and invitations, along with Deshia Designs All W'apped Up scarves and gift items from my company within it's first few weeks of being born. And then the two gentlemen in the mix of inspiration were my dear husband who has been nothing but supportive, helpful and inspirational and the name was inspired by my nephew who loves his "Aunt Deshia" unconditionally.
I look forward to bringing you handmade items, from artists of all walks of life, displaying their passion for life, eagerness to give back, and willingness to make a difference. I believe we all deserve to have and give those special unique gifts. I also know that "handmade" does not have to mean "expensive". Making a Difference
for the
Children
Many of my friends and family can attest to my life long love of children.
In the beginning of 2009 I was lucky enough to volunteer at the
Collin County Children's Advocacy Center (CCCAC) and since this I have seen how much just a little slice of time can help thousands of children.
Time is wonderful so is the terrific CCCAC facility which also requires funds to operate to help the abused, abandoned, troubled and orphaned children in our very own me neighborhood.
So I am making my personal goal is to build my business to reach a annual gift of
"Corporate Donor Level".
In the mean time please note that a portion of every card, invitation, and gift order will go back to the children through the
CCCACenter.
